More About Tillie

Tillie is a 2.5 year old Kelpie, although she looks to maybe have some Huntaway in her as she is on the larger side for a bitch and has lovely floppy ears. She is being rehomed through no fault of her own and only because of her owners change in circumstances and because they feel that she is too much for their other kelpie.

She was on a farm for the first year of her life and has likely been started on sheep but probably hasn’t made the grade as she was sold to a pet home. She is a lovely friendly girl who loves human interaction but she can become timid with men if they are loud or raise their voice .

She is sociable around other dogs and loves to play, albeit a little bit rough, which is typical of her breed. She has a very bouncy and enthusiastic nature that some dogs may find too much but there is no malice in her.

Tillie is crate trained, house trained, vaccinated, treated for worms and fleas and is microchipped.

She is slightly anxious traveller and tends to pant drool and pace a bit in the car. I’m sure this is something that could be addressed with some positive experience and training methods.
