More About Nanw

Nanw is a failed working dog who was saved from being PTS and is currently being fostered by the lady who saved her.

She is a petite female with an absolutely lovely temperament. She doesn't have high energy demands for the breed but an active life would be desirable where she can sniff, explore and chase a ball.

Unfortunately due to her livestock worrying it is not possible for her to stay long term where she is due to the number of farms nearby and she has already injured a neighbour's sheep so for her safety she needs a savvy home who will ideally live somewhere away from livestock - this could be a semi rural town where she can get decent exercise but not put herself or livestock at risk. She doesn't want to attack them but will worry them given the opportunity.

Ideally with a family who are home quite a lot to begin with to help her manage her separation anxiety.

She was assessed whilst living with an entire male dog and met the assessors Male dog. She paid little interest and displayed no signs of guarding.

Her recall is a little hit and miss especially around distractions so this would need work wherever she ends up - but she is a smart dog who loves being around people.
