More About Soji
Soji is a gorgeous little Kelpie x collie girl who is just over 2 years old. She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and treated for worms and fleas. She has, through no fault of her own, moved around a lot in the past year but thankfully has found herself a wonderful temporary foster home with her dog walker. She is very happy there and will be looking for the equivalent type of home where she can blossom.
Soji can be nervous and anxious when she first meets you. She will initially alarm bark because she is worried but if you put her at ease in the correct way she will quickly come around and you get to see what a wonderful, fun, clever and affectionate girl she is.
Soji currently lives with 2 large dogs and spends her day walking, playing and sleeping with them. She has been going on group walks and enjoys herding and playing with other dogs of all shapes and sizes.
She isn’t keen on unwanted attention from dogs she doesn’t know, especially when she’s on lead, and will bark and snap her teeth but doesn’t hold a grudge. She has never been in a fight or bitten a human or dog. She also travels well in a car.
Her foster carer has done some basic training with her to a high standard and also some tricks that Soji likes to perform. She thrives on structure and a working partnership bond and would love and need a home where this will be continued.
Despite her initial nervy disposition we think Soji could do very well within a family unit with dog savvy children. Once she lets you in Soji is a very affectionate little soul and loves to snuggle up for a cuddle and a belly rub. She has been an only dog in the past but very much loves to be in the company of other dogs and gets a lot out of it.
If you have an aversion for dog kisses then Soji may not be for you.
